Madeleine Jean Waterhouse
Madeleine Jean is a London-based photographer and artist working primarily with analog film, darkroom techniques, and alternative printing processes. Her practice explores themes of memory, impermanence, and ritual. By embracing chance, light, water, and time, her work carries both fragility and permanence.

Alongside her fine art practice, Madeleine has worked with cultural institutions and global brands including Longchamp, Stella McCartney, Alessandra Rich and the Royal Ballet, and her photography has been featured in publications such as Wonderland, Rolling Stone, AnOther, Notion and Numéro. Moving fluidly between fine art, documentary, and fashion, she creates images that feel both personal and timeless.
Madeleine's work has been exhibited internationally and collected privately, with prints and editions that reflect her distinct, poetic vision. Her prints and editions are available for collectors worldwide. For sales and inquiries, please get in touch via axel@maddijeanwaterhouse.co.uk.
